Basya Entertainment

Privacy, without the fog.

This notice explains the information used by Basya Entertainment projects on basya.org and the choices available to you. Last updated October 8, 2026.

Analytics

With your permission, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Cloudflare Web Analytics, and Vercel Web Analytics measure page visits, project launches, downloads, approximate region, broad device and browser details, referrers, campaigns, and interactions. This helps identify useful projects and broken pages. Advertising storage and ad personalization remain disabled. You can change your choice at any time using the Privacy choices button.

Accounts and hosting

Features such as Basya Hosting and account-enabled projects may store the information you provide, including a username, email address, securely handled password credentials, uploaded site files, project settings, and moderation status. This information is used only to provide, secure, and administer the requested service.

Essential local storage

Some projects save preferences, progress, accessibility choices, or session details in your browser so the experience continues to work. This browser also keeps a pseudonymous first-visit context containing the original source and campaign, first landing page, visit count, country or region supplied by the hosting edge, and broad device, language, and time-zone details. It does not store the raw network address or full browser user-agent string in that record. Essential storage is not disabled by the analytics choice because it supports features you request.

Public activity

Shared counters, such as the daily Basya cat pet count, store the action and date needed to calculate the public total. They are not intended to identify individual visitors.

Visitor event, live map and awards

The site event assigns this browser a signed, essential anonymous identifier so one browser counts as one arrival and can cast one changeable vote in each annual Basya Awards category. The Live Site Map shows only anonymous, combined activity by project from approximately the last two minutes. To reduce fake arrivals, a one-way hash derived from the network address is kept with a daily count; this feature does not store the raw network address. Clearing site data may remove the browser identifier.
