BASYAOS 0.4.3 - BOOT AND INSTALLATION GUIDE BasyaOS uses an original HTML/CSS desktop and a Debian-based hardware layer. It is an unsigned x86-64 preview. Back up important files before installing. VM - Create an x86-64 VM with 4 GB RAM and a 24 GB disposable virtual disk. - Enable BIOS or UEFI boot. Disable Secure Boot for this unsigned build. - Mount BasyaOS-0.4.3-x64.iso as the virtual DVD and start the VM. - The live desktop signs in automatically. Manual login: basya / basya123. USB - For a modern UEFI computer, format a dedicated 4 GB or larger USB drive as FAT32 and extract every file from BasyaOS-0.4.3-USB.zip to its root. - For a legacy BIOS computer, use a trusted raw-image writer to write BasyaOS-0.4.3-x64.iso to the whole USB drive. This erases that USB drive. - Select the USB drive from the computer's boot menu. Disable Secure Boot. INSTALLATION - Open Install BasyaOS from the desktop. - Select the destination disk and filesystem, then review the erase warning. - The destination can contain any previous filesystem; the installer replaces its partition layout. Double-check the disk name and size before confirming. - Built-in BasyaOS apps and installed Windows apps are kept together in the Programs folder. - HTML files and runnable Basya applications open in BasyaNet. Explicit inspect and unpack actions remain available in Archives; BEZip files open in Archives. COMPATIBILITY - BasyaNet, automatic USB mounting, wired/Wi-Fi networking, media playback, photo viewing, ZIP, 7z, Basya, BEZip, EXE, and MSI handling are included. - Windows software runs through Wine. Programs that require unsupported Windows drivers, DRM, or APIs may not work. - Doomaze BasyaOS Edition and Doomaze Custom are exclusive to BasyaOS. SUPPORT support@basya.org https://www.basya.org
